Global Youth Forum 2012: Are You An Agent of Change?

Identitasonline.net - Global Youth Forum (GYF) bekerjasama dengan Himpunan Mahasiswa Hubungan Internasional (Himahi) menyelenggarakan kegiatan sosialisasi program Global Youth Forum di Makassar, Senin (15/10). Secara umum, program organisasi ini diselenggarakan dengan tujuan untuk mengajak pemuda Indonesia berpartisipasi secara publik melalui komunitas ataupun gerakan yang dapat mendorong perubahan positif di lingkungan sekitar mereka.
            Serangkaian kegiatan diselenggarakan dalam sosialisasi yang bertempat di Ruang Mulitimedia Perpustakaan Unhas. Diawali dengan materi dari pembicara Local Mudrikan Nacong dengan tema "Are You An Agent Of Change?", permbicara ahli yang juga alumni Hubungan Internasional Unhas, Boby dengan tema “Civic Participations”, dan perwakilan dari The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Sesi kedua adalah diskusi group yang membahas tentang persoalan pemuda saat ini.
             Setiap project mewakili aspirasi suara pemuda di makassar secara umumnya sekaligus sebagai bentuk perhatian peserta atas isu yg terjadi kali ini. “Aspirasi tersebut dikumpulkan dan dibawa kembali untuk disampaikan pada Global Youth Forum yang akan diselenggarakan di Bali”, tutur Tommy Hanafi selaku Program Officer GYF.

Okey, Guys, tulisan diatas adalah berita yang dihadirkan oleh Koran Kampus Identitas, yang bisa menjadi gambaran seperti apa kegiatan ini sendiri. kegiata yang dihadiri 70 Pemuda-Pemudi dari berbagai perwakilan  lembaga mahasiswa dan pelajar, advokasi pemuda, aktivis, komunitas anak jalanan, dan lain-nya.
dan pada kegiatan ini sendiri yang awalnya saya sebagai penaggung jawab untuk Makassar karena kesibukan akhirnya didaulat untuk menjadi speaker lokal dan membawakan presentasi "Are You An Agent of Change?" dan tentu saja sangat berterima kasi atas dukungan penuh dari teman-2 Himpunan Mahasiswa Hubungan Intenasional (HIMAHI) Unhas. kegiatan ini berlangsung menyenamgkan dan menarik dan tentu saja semoga apa yang diharapakan bisa tercapai dan esensi yang ada bisa didapatkan.
